ARTIST FEEDBACK

Feedback:  I chose Underbrush.net studios for 4 main reasons:

1) The studio was relatively close to everyone working on this project and less than 10 minutes from my house
2) Jason is a Christian
3) We believed we could do everything we wanted to using Underbrush.net Studios
4) The price was very attractive

We spent a little over 60 hours in the studio recording 11 songs. Everyone who came in to work on the project (over a dozen) just loved the laid back atmosphere and Jason was always so easy to work with. I've heard of some studios where the studio engineer tells you what you can and can't do. Jason was more than willing to offer his input which I appreciated very much. But, he was also more than willing to let us try something, even if he thought it was a little off the wall. Sometimes it was and got canned. A few of them really did work. Overall the experience was great and I'm pleased with the final product.

Feedback:  Thanks again for taking time out of your schedule to record, as always, much appreciated. It's so convenient to have such a great studio so close to home not to mention such a great person to record with. Thanks again.

Feedback:  I just wanted to thank you for everything you've done. I didn't know what to expect from my first recording session, and I'll admit I was nervous. But, the comfortable atmosphere of your studio made me feel right at home. You're professionalism and friendly disposition made the recording process a fun, memorable experience. Truly one I'll never forget. All of your knowledge and skills, as well as the personal care you took with each track made everything sound just perfect. The quality of the CD you engineered has definitely surpassed all of my expectations. Thank you for helping me create a true work of art and for bringing my voice to the world. Robert and I greatly enjoyed our time at Underbrush.net Studios and wish you much continued success. We look forward to recording again with you! We'll be back...
Fondly, Kimm and Robert

Feedback:  I really enjoyed myself, you were fair to work with, friendly, had cool snacks, and got along with all of us. You allowed us to have control over what the recording sounded like, you were patient with our requests, and have been patient with me in getting this last bit o' cash to you. I like the recording, I think you did a good job, you gave us exactly what we asked for and we appreciated the opportunity to work with you. It was awesome too to work with a fellow Christian who respected where we were coming from, and helped build us up in our faith. So thanx.
Love in Christ, Matt

Feedback:  Working with J was a blast, at the sound of our recordings I had to pinch myself to believe that my music could have come out in such great quality, great to know that he just charges for the actual "work" time, because the amount of time we spent eating and mic checking etc. would have almost doubled our time, thx a lot J, it was fun, and we'll be back.

Feedback:  Jason, Just wanted to say thank you for recording us. You did a great job on the mix for both of our songs and we can't tell you enough how happy we are with the way everything turned out. You have a great setup and are a very pleasant person to hang out with. We're going to take some time to perfect a handful of new songs as well as playing a couple of shows here and there over the next month. Until we meet again, take care man. Sincerely, Jacob Hope Jordan Kunzler Frank Pasquarello Jr.

Part 2:

Jason, Just wanted to know if you were gonna post the new mp3 up on the site. And I mainly just wanted to say thanks again for being such a huge help to us. We're taking the new 3-song demo and sending it to James Cho of SideCho (Huntington Beach, CA) records along with a big recommendation from Donnie (who was his label with his band Veronica). He's already expecting it, so were all psyched. That's one of the reasons we decided to go all out with "Greetings" and get it as perfect and big sounding as we could (sorry if we were extra picky Tues night). And we all agree that once again, you've succeeded in capturing our sound at it's best in what could possibly be our favorite and best recording to date. We seriously appreciate everything you've done for us. You're a great mind when it comes to recording and an all-around great guy. Jordan

Feedback:  Working with Jason was a great experience! He is easy-going and he always made an effort to make me feel relaxed. He was focused and professional at all times and he was patient as well. One thing I know, God has blessed Jason with some great talents to record music and to minister to people at the same time.

Feedback:  We were probably the pickiest band Jason has ever recorded with. We did eleven songs in...I think four sessions. Jason is the coolest 29 year old I've ever met in my life. Throughout every session he stuck with us and was very attentive to mixing/recording needs. This guy has snacks and everything...we ate all his combos and got scratched by his cats (just recently de-clawed). He has created a really comfortable environment to work in that is not only hospitable, but also technologically advanced (this guy knows what he's doing) He's just upgraded his studio and is in the middle of redecorating. If you haven't seen, you should definitely check it out! His prices are unbeatable for the caliber of recording that he does and the knowledge and experience that he has is another great benefit he has to offer. Jason put in so much work to make us happy about our recording...he's constantly holding himself to a higher standard of excellence, trying to make things sound perfect; even after we're ready for him to stop.

P.S. Don't stay too late or his girlfriend gets mad because he gets tired when he sees her...and that's understandable....

*Note from "his girlfriend" - 2 of the 4 Niagra sessions ended between 6 & 8 AM :o)

Feedback:  Incoming Transmission From The Jawas...If you are reading this, then you have stumbled upon the best kept secret in the galaxy. You are Zelda and you just burned the right bush, which has uncovered a critical piece of information that will change the way you think about the recording process forever. What I am about to tell you might mold and alter your decision process a little, but don't worry it's not REAL brainwashing. If you're thinking about recording, do yourself and your listeners a favor and work with Jason. He takes the recording process and creates a small adventure out of it. The Jawas and I went up for an evening recording session that was supposed to last form 7 to 12 and we ended up staying until 5 the next morning. Jason is very generous with his time and attention. Within the first 15 minutes of setting up, it is already obvious that Jason truly cares about your music and achieving the sound that is right for you. The process is all kinds of fun and Jason jokes around and makes everyone feel at home while you're there. He even took us to SHEETZ (aka THE GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH). Anywho...with all seriousness, if you want good sound and a great experience that is ridiculously inexpensive...Work with Jason at Underbrush.net Studios!!! It was great and our cd sounds absolutely AMAZING...Thanks again J. So, go go go to Underbrush.net!! Oh yeah...one more thing...just watch out for the kamikaze cats that will do just about anything to attack an untrimmed guitar string. May the force be with you...The Jawas.

Feedback:  Working with Jason is like working with family. He is easy to get along with and he is very open minded. His flexibility allows for artistic freedom. There are no barriers to passion while recording with Jason. He doesn't tell you how to do things rather Jason makes useful suggestions. The quality is very clear and the rates are borderline free. This is his hobby and it is obvious that he loves to do it. The demo turned out great and I look forward to recording a full length album shortly.

Feedback:  Steph and I were so lucky to have Jason as our recording technician!! As it was our first cd, we were not sure how to tend to all the details of recording and Jason was there every step of the way, helping us create a technically great sound and adding special effects to enhance our original ideas. Beyond his professionalism, there was also a sense of caring and desire to help us as much as he could. He was kind enough to let us stay at his house to avoid driving 2 hours back at 4 am, and was a constant friend and a blast to hang out with as we were completing the grueling process of mastering. We are so grateful and recommend him to anyone interested in both producing a great product and getting to know a wonderful person!

Feedback:  When I first stepped into Jason's house, I really felt like I was at home, because his studio is located right in his own house. My problem is that I am really allergic to cats, not to mention, going to the bathroom 14 times (not because of the cats)! But overall... Jason knows what he is doing and he does a great job. We are very pleased with the recording and had a lot of fun hanging out with Jason and the cat crew at Underbrush.net Studios.

Feedback:  Us Scattercast guys had a blast working with J. He is the man. I would be willing to place my bet that Underbrush.net Studios is the most cost effective studio that any group can find, in the area. Not only does J know his equipment; he knows music. He was willing to do whatever was needed to get "that sound" we wanted, which is very important to us. Also it is nice to know that the only thing that J loves more than what he does, is Jesus...which is the only reason we do what we do. He has his priorities in line from the beginning. Bottom line...if you want to put out a good product then J is your man (THIS IS NOT A PAID ENDORSEMENT). Seriously folks. Underbrush.net studios, is and will continue to be at the top of Scattercast's list for a long time.
PEACE.

Feedback:  Recording with J was an awesome experience. His friendly attitude and the pleasant ambiance of his studio made me feel very at home during the whole experience. He was also very patient with me while I was trying to get the tracks JUST right. He does this recording stuff because he LOVES it, and his excitement about it really makes recording with Underbrush.net Studios a pleasure!!!

Feedback:  My fellow band mates and I recorded with J a little while back. Overall the experience was quite pleasant. J went above and beyond the call of duty in setting up and preparation. As we recorded, J continued to maintain a friendly and comfortable environment. When the recording was over, J did all of the mastering exactly how we wanted it and we walked out with a copy, on CD, of what we had done. Now I hear that J has gotten all new digital recording equipment, so I'm sure that quality will be better than ever. I highly encourage anyone who is looking to record to seriously think about Underbrush.net Studios. Thank you and goodnight from all of us here in radio land.

Feedback:  Well... Where do I start! So many good things to say, and such a little white box to type them in! :) Recording at Underbrush.net Studios was a great opportunity. We have had the privilege to work there twice. We left the studio the second time extremely satisfied with the way everything turned out (Jay crank that snare drum!). One of the things I love about this studio is the atmosphere. Jay willingly opens his house to his recording guests! It's like sleeping over at a friend’s house, then just playing some music. It's laid back and very comfortable. Jay is patient and very hardworking, he works to achieve that perfect sound your looking for. If anyone is looking for a low price, high quality studio, I HIGHLY recommend Underbush.net Studios.

Feedback:  Oi...Underbrush.net is a top-drawer place to record, Mercury Radio Theater did our second demo there and we've gotten more gigs and exposure from that recording, than from all the flyers we've dropped from buildings and blimps we've rented. Jason, is a great producer and technician, he knew exactly how to get the best sound for our band and he also had pizza and cats, not in conjunction of course...they were separate, pizza in one place, cats in another...anything else would just be unsanitary...

Feedback:  Dude, J rocks. First of all, there is no one cooler to work with than J. He's a great friend with a really good ear for sound quality, and a very hard worker. Second he's got some top of the line equipment which really gets a nice sound. The Underbrush.net studio is the most pleasing and affordable studio out there. J's house/ studio is almost a nice "get away" at the same time. It's located in a very beautiful area and gives you a chance to clear your head. I recommend Underbrush.net Studios to any bands that are really trying to get their stuff out there. Plus J is the sexiest man alive!

Feedback:  Well what has not been said about the man! J is very, very (how many times can I used that term?) patient & accommodating to your every need. He is very hospitable & while we (the Rob Soule' Band) we're there, we kind of took over the kitchen & made breakfast lunch & dinner, I think we stocked up most of his fridge the last time. J has unbelievable & very reasonable rates around & you get the personal touch with J as he listens & understands what you are trying to accomplish. He has since gotten digital equipment to record & he is very capable in using the high tech equipment (can't believe I said high tech) and if there's an effect or kind of sound that you're after, he'll try his hardest to replicate that for you! He is that good ladies & gentlemen! Plus you get to meet his 2 very curious cats! But overall I/we have had the pleasure of working with J through our demands (it needs more bass!) and definitely one of the nicest & understanding engineers I/we have ever worked with!
